Reading Reflection

The child is like an extension of the mother herself，but the extra parts of the body seem to have just only one-way nerves：I can feel all the pain you send back，but I can’t give you a command to receive to protect you from being harmed。I used to think that the kids being born was a one-side contract：they are saddled with terms and conditions they didn’t agree to（Law,public order, good customs…),maybe  coming into the world itself is not necessarily what they want. But for the first time, I suddenly realized, This is one for parents, too , a one-side contract：they are saddled with terms and conditions they didn’t agree to.

   Maybe I would like to say that it’s parents ‘decision ,they can’t complain about it .But it’s they are indeed willing to make this choice? Can they really choose？Or is it just because,“because I had no choice”？

Heptapods gave humans their language, and didn’t disappear until mankind realized that they needed to work together.As the book says, mankind does not have a unified world leader. Different religions, complex cultures, and diverse languages ​​constitute a diverse civilization of mankind, conflicts and disputes cannot be avoided.

But when global problems arise, can human beings unite like in the book?Nowadays, global warming, terrorism and other global issues are frequently occurring. However, in some countries, some people only care about their own interests and pursue wrong ideas, it is helpless and regrettable. Although there are still many unsolved problems in today’s society, I believe that if everyone takes social responsibility and strengthens their own ideological and moral qualities and global concepts.Then the prosperity of the country and the peace of the world are no longer a utopia.
