Welcome to IMA Fabrication Lab!

The Fabrication Lab is IMA’s digital manufacturing working space where students can realize their ideas. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as 3D printing and laser cutting, students are able to interface their ideas between the digital and physical worlds. Lab Opening Hours: Monday to Thursday 10:00AM to 7:30PM, Friday 10:00AM to 6:00PM
*12:00PM to 1:00PM (lunch break) 5:00PM to 5:30PM (dinner break)
 

How does the Fabrication Lab work?

  • Come for a visit to explore our machines and capabilities.
  • Attend the different workshops organized during the semester. You can find the information in the IMA newsletter or on 8th-floor posters.
  • Design your own work according to the tutorials for each machine.
  • Make a fabrication appointment with one of the fellows or with the lab manager.
  • Ask fellows or staff if you have any problem. They can help you with machines and design problems.
  • Anyone who wishes to use the Fabrication Lab should demonstrate their awareness of safety procedures.
