III. Concept | Storyline:
1). What is the piece (article, poem, story) for the narrative voice over? Or who are you going to interview?
The script for narration will be written according to the theme that we intend to convey.
2). What’s the story about?
Circles have long been perceived as a straightforward metaphor in Chinese culture, representing completeness, perfection, moderation, so on and so forth. We aim to visualize this particular shape through various objects, conveying its spirits.
3). Which part of the story are you going to focus on?
The particular section that we will focus on is where the Taoist priest wields his sword while the seven soldiers emerge beyond the horizon on their horses.
4). What kind of style/aesthetics are you going to pursue?
Chinese aesthetics

1). What equipment are you going to use when shooting the movie? (cell phone, DSLR camera, sound recorder, stabilizer..)

Nanxiang ancient town, Yunxiang temple, other scenes will be shot indoors
Daytime, utilize the natural light and the transparency of certain props to create varied visual effects.

Smooth transitions, the use of stabilizer, matching the scenes with the background music, exploring different camera angles.
Preparation: Watch tutorial videos, draft a storyboard in accordance with the background music.
