Industrial Design is a reflect of the evolution of society, as we move to modern times products have shift to adapt to various contexts. Industrial Design derives from human vulnerability, which has intercede in the creation of tools to satisfy and facilitate our daily activities. From the complexity of technological innovation to a toothbrush, its goal is to simplify our lives. This discipline highlights that objects need to have a well defined purpose, together with hints of aesthetic to make it both useful and appealing to the eye.
I perceive industrial design as this force that shapes the way humans interact with their surroundings. As a result, designers aim to find solutions that are not only visually appealing but intuitive and sustainable to create a pleasant user experience. Industrial design has a significative impact in society; in general terms it promotes innovation since is constantly looking for new ways to solve problems which conducts to more efficient products; therefore technology becomes more advance. Besides that, it contributes to the economy, because product innovations drives to economical growth and generate labor. I think most importantly industrial design acts a actor for change when it comes to sustainability I feel that nowadays products are more focused in environmental responsibility and being conscious about the current state of the world.
