As we are delivering a mysterious package on a mysterious planet, there must be something unexpected and unusual on the road, especially when the fog is on. Here are the sketches.
These are what we noticed when recording. A warning and cameras.
A rusty door is right in front of us when starting, which will automatically open when it detects organisms. Right behind the door, there is a blue river heading to nowhere. It’s quite surprising that on this mysterious planet, there is a beautiful river. On the other side of the river bank, we encountered some survalliance camera, because while delivering the package as a alien of this planet, we could feel been survallianced by something behind. The sound of camera lead us under the highway, where a huge amount of abandoned meter box at the end blocking the way. Looking to the left, there is a forest hiding in the fog. This make us think of the contrast of industry and nature. Maybe on this planet, they are still living in a indutrial society. When crossing through the forest, there is a board said ‘package here’.
The path overall, repesent what we have encountered and inspected, maybe brings us closer to ‘where we are’. Below are some of the models we built to envision the scene.
However, when we checked the requirement, we found we are only allowed to use basic patterns, so we rebuild the scene. And as we learned from prof how to use trigger, we added two trigger colliders to warn the player who is going teh wrong way. Also, one trigger for the door sound, one for turing off the light.
Below is the whole process when playing.
Basically, I done the environment setup part, build up the scenario, and my partner added and adjusted the sound. We made the trigger together.
