- Working Title: Colorful Sounds
- Elevator Pitch:
The project places different colors on the different keys of a piano to represent the tune of different sounds. When the user click on one of the key of the piano, then the music will come out and a image that represents the music will appear above the piano.
- Concept:
I learned playing the piano for about three years and I enjoying the fascinating sounds from it when I press different keys. I wonder how to visualize these diverse sounds and colors of different hues then come up in my mind. People who are interested in the music and color and are disabled to listen songs are the possible audience.
- Sources / Related Art & Practice：
The special effects of piano which becomes popular theses days gives me inspiration of the visualization of my project.
Also the interaction part of the game Rhythm Master gives me primary thoughts of my project. I also want to use this project to help the deaf to see the music.
- Production / Methodology:
I will use html and css elements like button, div and id to connect with javascript. The project will finally be presented as a piano on a website. If users press different keys on the piano which is actually different buttons in the website, they will hear different sounds. The color of keys will also change from white and black to diverse hues according the mood of sounds at the same time.
