Unrestricted Dance:
The project presents a large screen with a series of bubbles on it and user will follow the strings to pop the bubbles, which will finally connect together and make up of a dance of a music. Throughout the entire process, users are able to dance in their own way while they only need to pop the bubbles, which will assist them in forming the basic dance frame. The project is aimed at use dance to trigger music while people can generate their own designs of dancing with the provided music and frames. It can also demonstrates how human movements vary from each other under the same conditions provided.
Bloom With Sounds:
The screen will show patterns which represent different growing stages of flower according to the sounds from piano which users can play on. Other buttons which can trigger drums or other instruments are also plugged in the piano. The piano is made of buttons and pieces of wood with laser cutting technology. The visualization of music in this form is inspired by an interesting scientific founding that sounds can influence the growing of plants.
Playing Chess In Universe:
Two users will playing the traditional chess in the background of universe which is generated by processing and be reflected on the desk by the equipment. Throughout the entire game, two planets will follow the track of two kings of two users. When one user win the game, the background will change by destroying the loser’s planet and placing the most important major planet on the winning side. The game is to present the evolution of a very small part of universe while two planets collide, which shows the indifferent evolving of nature. This project is different from previous ones because it changes the interaction part from people moving to cause the change of movements of patterns on the ground to playing chess on desks.
