When I first open Demi’s work, the sketch full of gradient ramp surprised me with minimalist design. As I type some keys, the music played one after another and all these pieces are played in a harmonious way although they are separate tracks. The idea of finding soundtracks with the bpm of 120 is really effective for making the sketch sound pleasantly. Meanwhile, the idea of changing the transparency of background as the mouse moves from low to high and showing the blob as the mouse moves from left to right develops the interaction part on this sketch. In terms of interaction, maybe adding some instructions about moving the position on the sketch can make users clearer when trying to interact with the sketch. Adding other kinds of interaction may also brings more fun to the entire work.
For the code part, I find the reverb function as interesting because user can use slider to control the sound and make it special. I also like the idea of adding stop() in the code because when type the key twice the music will stop, which provides users more space to explore possibilities.
