Last month, New York University announced that NYU Prague would be accommodating about 15 Ukrainian undergraduate students who have been affected by the Russian invasion.
The Ukrainian undergraduate students will be residing in the NYU Prague dormitories and attending NYU Prague classes during the 2022-2023 academic year, says NYU Prague’s Associate Director Thea Favaloro. Interested Ukrainian students can apply here.
“Geographically, NYU Prague is the closest NYU site to Ukraine,” explains Favaloro. “As Czech, Ukrainian and Russian are all Slavic languages, the local culture and language should feel more familiar to Ukrainians than perhaps would be the case in other countries where there are NYU sites.”
