Isabelle Cao (Writer/Co-Editor)
Isabelle is a Media, Culture, and Communications (MCC) Major with Minors in Architecture and Business. She is passionate about traveling, musical theatre, interior design, and trying new food. Outside of academic pursuits, she spends her time volunteering at her local animal shelter and walking her beagle named Muffin. She is excited to work with the NYU Prague Blog and share her experiences this semester.
Greta Pahl (Writer/Co-Editor)
Greta is a junior with a double major in Media, Culture, and Communication and Urban Design and Architecture Studies. Originally from a small town in Vermont, she loves anything and everything outdoors, including skiing, rock climbing, and hiking. In her free time, you can find her thrifting, curating Spotify playlists, and going on very long walks. She is excited to explore Prague and share her experiences and discoveries this semester!
Siena Lee (Writer/Co-Editor)
Siena is a sophomore from Irvine, California majoring in Global Liberal Studies. She loves traveling, fangirling at kpop concerts, taking dance classes, and abusing her Google Photos storage. She also spends her free time brainstorming outfit ideas and editing vlogs (it’s a work in progress). She is thrilled to be spending the semester in Prauge and can’t wait to write about her time here!
Grace Huang (Writer/Social Media)
Grace is a junior from Vancouver, Canada, studying Film & TV Production. She loves fashion, film, and literature; playing squash and the piano; hot chocolate and all things fall. If she’s not on the court or in a cinema, you can probably find her tucked away in a cozy cafe with a book, binging a 2000s TV show, or wandering the cobblestone streets pretending she’s in a European rom-com. Prague is one of her favourite cities in the world, and she’s more than excited to write about her time here.
Jiachen (Angelina) Lim (Writer/Social Media)
Angelina is a junior at NYU studying Film & TV Production and Mathematics, with minors in BEMT and Producing. She spends most of her free time either staring dramatically at the sunset like it’s a movie scene, or sleeping way too long under her blanket (no regrets). She can’t wait to explore Prague and write about all the chaos along the way.
Amelia Choi (Writer)
Amelia is a junior studying Media, Culture, and Communication. She is from Houston, Texas and loves to keep a pulse on social media trends and pop culture happenings. Her interests include scrapbooking, coffee shop hopping, listening to live music, and yapping with her friends. She is excited to explore, learn, and take in all of Prague this fall!
Kate Haver (Writer)
Kate is a junior studying Economics and Visual Media Studies at Duke University. She’s passionate about media, traveling and photography. She’s excited to check off every item on her extensive Prague bucket list and contribute her perspective as a visiting student.
Hana Semeráková (Writer/RA)
Hana is a sophmore from Prague studying Nutrition. Before trading her ski boots for city sneakers, she spent over a decade as a Czech national alpine ski racer. After an injury put her racing career to an end, she discovered a new love for exploring the world at a slightly slower pace. If she’s not at the gym, you can mostly find her re-watching 2000s sitcoms, cooking some questionable meals, or trying (and mostly failing) to keep her houseplants alive.
Šimon Vaněk (Writer/RA)
Šimon is a student of Area studies on the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague. He loves traveling and meeting new cultures and languages, mainly in Eastern Europe, but also worldwide. Besides that you can find him in hanging out with friends, reading history books or walking and contemplating. Last but not least he is a keen RA who is ready to help with the blog!
