Train Stations

Hlavní nádraží

(Main/Wilson railway station): Praha 2, Wilsonova ul, at the metro station Hlavní nádraží (red line).

  • International and national trains.
  • There is an international office where English is spoken.

Holešovice nádraží

Praha 7, at the metro Nádraží Holešovice (red line)

  • many international trains.
  • You can get there by trams 12, 17, 24.

Masarykovo nádraží

(Masaryk station) Hybernská ul, Praha 1, at the metro station Náměstí Republiky (yellow line).

  • Mostly national trains to the north, east and south.

Smíchovské nádraží

Nádražní, Praha 5, at the metro Smíchovské nádraží (yellow line),

  • mostly trains to west

Bus stations

Make sure you know where your bus leaves from! Most leave from the main station, Florenc.

Florenc

The largest bus station, you probably will never go to the other stations. At the metro Florenc on the red and yellow lines (Red line exit is closest to the bus station- follow signs to Autobusové nádraží).

Na Knížecí

Near Anděl metro stop (go out the exit marked Na Knížecí) or take tram 4 from Máchova or I.P. Pavlova directly there. This is where the direct buses to Český Krumlov depart.

Černý most

End of yellow line (mostly for domestic trips).


Car transport

Avoid driving. It is illegal for someone who is in the Czech Republic for more than 90 days to drive without a Czech driver’s license or an international driver’s license.
