NYU Prague offers a wide range of extracurricular programs from cultural events to sports. They are all free for you and there is no limit on how many you can attend, so that you can make the most of your time in Prague.
If you have any ideas for events, make sure to let us know by emailing prague-programing@nyu.edu or talking to our friendly staff! We love trying out new events!
Make sure to check our events and trips and the NYU Prague Events calendar for the latest events. You will also get a weekly newsletter, the Sunday Scoop with a summary of upcoming events.
Signing up
You can sign up for as many events as you want. The signup links will be accessible through this page or through the weekly newsletter – the Sunday Scoop. The links open approximately week and a half before the event.
Trips have an initial limitation as to how many you can sign up for. Read more on the trips page.
No-show Policy
In order to make sure as many students as possible can attend our events, we have a strict no-show policy to prevent tickets from going to waste.
So please make sure that If you sign up for an event and find out you cannot attend anymore, you let us know at least 24 hours in advance by emailing prague-programing@nyu.edu so that we can notify students on the waiting list. If there are no students on the waiting list, you will be asked to find a replacement.
If you do not show up for an event without an excuse and finding a replacement, your absence will be counted as a no-show. Two no-shows result in a ban on attending any future NYU Prague sponsored trips and events.
