Description
Two days to unwind, slow down and delight in the beautiful countryside of the Czech Switzerland National Park. We’ll stay in an old hunting chateau with beautiful mountain views and a swimming pool. We’ll walk by streams and listen to the sounds of the forest. We’ll learn simple practices of mindfulness meditation that help us to reduce stress and calm the mind. Those who wish can also take a relaxing yoga class. To live more fully with the present moment, we’ll practice a mild “digital detox”, giving up our phones and digital devices for all but one hour a day. Disconnect, and reconnect, with nature, yourself and each other!
Note: An important aspect of this retreat will be the “digital detox”. Once we arrive at the retreat venue on Friday morning, you will be asked to give up your cell phone and other devices to an RA for the day. You may use them for a short time after dinner. Attending this retreat implies that you accept this condition.
