After 2 month I was finally able to leave Prague and to escape to Nasavrky, small town located in eastern Bohemia (only 15 km away from Hlinsko, where we were to go with NYU for a Homestay Trip). It has approximately 1,700 inhabitants, unique chestnut orchard and the square where the lamps look like gallows. Under normal circumstances, not much happens here, but that is exactly why one loves it here in the time of coronavirus! Zero cases, infinity of fresh air and even less busy than usual! Here are my Top 7 Things that I love even more about village life at this strange time!
#1 Traveling to this out-of-town location is very convenient, because no one wants to travel at all now
#2 Instead of updating reports of food shortages in stores, you can turn your garden into your own fruit and vegetable shop
#3 You have plenty of time to become even more independent and finally learn to bake bread
#4 Most of the day you do not have to wear a face mask, because your garden is at least 20 m2
#5 You can make a campfire every day and to connect #2 and #3 using a grill
#6 You can do anything at the main square, and no one will even notice it, because the idea of social distancing is brought to perfection here
#7 The surrounding nature is always a good idea
