Oct 17-21: Designblok 2019
The central subject of the 21stannual Desigblok is Future, and visitors will have the chance to glance into it at the usual place – the Exhibition Grounds in the Prague district of Holešovice – between 17 and 21 October 2019. The most extensive design and fashion festival held in the Czech Republic has now revealed its visual form, which is every year the work of the photographer Salim Issa and the graphic designer Martina Černá, while Lucie Koldová will be the author of Designerie, the main exhibition of the event. Visitors along with designers will explore the world of the future and will try to find ways how design can contribute in this respect for the sake of the generations to come.

Oct 16: Chromatics + guests: Desire + Pink Gloves
Last time anyone saw Chromatics live, they were performing with Julee Cruise on new episode of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. After announcing their first public concerts in over 5 years, this synthpop sensation is set to take the stage all over Europe. Onstage, the group will be playing their favorite moments from Night Drive, Kill For Love, Cherry and Dear Tommy. Visually, the entire night features films directed by Johnny Jewel. Bringing a cinematic experience to the concerts, the bands will be blurring the line between stage and screen. Chromatics will be sharing stage with Italians Do It Better label mates Desire, In Mirrors, Pink Gloves.
