Every semester, NYU Prague hosts graduate students who have received fellowships through the Graduate Reseach Institute.

Daphne Carr (music department, College of Arts and Sciences) is researching policing technologies that use sonic tactics to police public order.

Maricielo Gomez (Global Affairs, SPS) is researching the Czech migration policy and the rising xenophobia in the region.

Daniel Murage is an MFA candidate in the creative writing program who is working on short stories that explore magical realism.

William Clark, Andrew Ragni, and Lauren Wolfe are all from the Department of Comparative Literature. William is researching French philosopher Georges Canguilhem, Andrew is studying the early 20th century anti-colonist writings, and Lauren is looking at the civil wars in Europe from 1914 to 1945.

Elaha Rahmani (Center for Global Affairs, SPS) after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation found itself home to a massive influx of immigrants from the former Soviet Union States as well as Afghanistan. Rahmani seeks to explore the Russian immigration policy..
