Here’s how you do it:

2. Go into your profile and enter your ISIC card number (must be issued by Charles University) to get the student discount.

3. Buy a pass (not a ticket).
– select the 3-month pass (čtvrtletní) and enter the start date: the expiry date of your current coupon will show up at the bottom of the page – select the following day as the start date for the new coupon
Tariff: Select Student (18-26)
– ZONE – you should get the Prague zone (Praha) – 0.
– Proceed to payment

5. You will be charged 360 CZK.  Note: You CANNOT GET A STUDENT DISCOUNT before you secure your ISIC card in Prague.

6. If you prefer to do it in person, you can go to the Litacka office where you can also get a physical Lítačka card.

A regular paper metro pass

If you do not have an ISIC issued by the local Charles University, you can buy a metro pass at one of the public transport info centres listed on the Prague public transport company website using the Charles University Student ID.

The closest one to the academic centre is at Můstek metro station.
