Diego Casian is a passionate filmmaker from San Diego, California, currently studying at FAMU in Prague as part of the 35mm film program. As a Fall 2024 NYU Prague Global Equity Fellow, Diego brings a vibrant mix of creative storytelling, technical expertise, and a deep love for the arts. His dedication to film is matched only by his enthusiasm for playing drums, exploring new places, and immersing himself in captivating stories. Whether behind the camera or behind the kit, Diego is always seeking out new rhythms and narratives that inspire and connect.

Hi! I’m Antonia Mendez, a junior at NYU Gallatin, where I’m crafting my unique concentration in Digital Storytelling and Memory Studies. I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, and moved to NYC for college. I am now thrilled to be in Prague, ready to immerse myself in the city’s rich culture and create lasting memories. My passions revolve around filmmaking (which inspires my concentration), reading, soccer, and travelling. Each of these interests reflects my love for stories—whether they’re captured on film, written on a page, or experienced through new places and people.
