Join RAs Čenda and Naty for a Sídliště Walk. Sídliště could be translated as Housing estate and it played a significant role in Soviet Urbanism. We are going to visit the so called Jižní Mesto (South city), a Sídliště in the Prague 11 district. This Sídliště was build during the Communist regime and was a part of a bigger plan, that was never finished (more on that topic on the walk) :). The walk will also include a short introduction to the history of Jižní město and the current sociology of this particular urbanistic phenomenon. Please make sure to dress warm – this part of Prague is known to be quite windy.
