James Conlon at NYU Prague

James Conlon, a world class composer will talk about the place of a classical music conductor in today’s society, what is their function, what composers actually do, and what relevance they hope to have in 2023.
He will also talk about his Recovered Voices initiative, an ongoing commitment to staging masterpieces of 20th-century European composers suppressed by the Third Reich.

The talk will be held as a part of the ECPM course and is open to all NYU Prague students.
