Thursday, April 6 at 6:30 in the National Theatre
This is a very dark version of the original fairy tale that bordering on horror. It is also extremely visual. Beauty’s father is an impoversihed ringmaster of a traveling circus and the show incorporates acrobatics, etc. It was directed by Daniela Spinar, who was the head of the National Theatre until recently. About two hours; has English supertitles.
