Join us for ADHD, a non-verbal show at the amazing Jatka78 – a former pig slaughterhouse that was transformed into a theatre/gallery and is steps away from Osadni.
The show is by one of Prague’s most popular theatre companies with actors and circus artists from all over the world. The show combines juggling, acrobatics, roller skaters to explore the disorder ADHD, and was directed by Rosta Novak, who was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and argues that it is not an illness, but an advantage:
“A theory exists, saying, that thanks to people like Christopher Columbus, Albert Einstein, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Winston Churchill, Leonardo da Vinci, Charles IV. or Emil Zátopek, our society reached the point in which we presently are. All of them were hyperactive, so we must be in the right point.”
If I did not have ADHD, I would never have been able to create our company.
