Embassy Registration

Registration with US Dept. of State (or corresponding foreign analogue):

NYU highly recommends all students register with their respective embassy in Spain.  US and non US citizens may do so online at the following website for the US embassy: https://step.state.gov/step/  You will need your passport (or a photocopy) to complete this form: Please have it with you before beginning the form.

1. Click on “Register My Trip”.
2. Click on “Short Term Traveler”.
3. Fill out all the required fields.
4. When asked for an address abroad, use NYU’s address: calle Segre 8, 28002 Madrid, Spain; (+34) 91 590 29 21.

This form is confidential and solely between you and the US Dept. of State. NYU does NOT have access to any information you may register with the US Dept. of State or your respective government.  On our data form, we only ask you to inform NYU of your plans regarding embassy registration.
