Archives and Public History Masters student, Jubilee Marshall, made it into the final round of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Threesis challenge. Master’s students from 25 difference Departments presented their research in only three minutes tailored to a non academic audience. On April 22, 2022 at 6:30pm the seven finalists will compete for a winner where attendees can vote for their favorites. Congrats Jubilee!

Joe Bishop recently won the 2022 Shryock Award from the American Association for the History of Medicine. The Shryock Award honors an outstanding, unpublished essay on any topic in the history of medicine. Congratulations to Joe Bishop and all his hard work.
Congratulations to the Organization of American States Scholarship Winner! (Andrea Ho, MAH 2023)
Andrea Ho (MAH 2023) has been named the Canadian fellow for the Organization of American States (OAS) Scholarship for Graduate Studies. The scholarship provides up to $20,000 for full-time studies at any university in an OAS member state. Andrea plans to study Indigenous activism, carceral history, and transformative justice in the Americas.
Congratulations to the Newest William H. Helfand Fellow (Joe Bishop, MAH 2022)
Joe Bishop (MAH 2022) has been named the William H. Helfand Fellow in the History of Medicine and Public Health at the New York Academy of Medicine. Joe will spend his residency at the NYAM doing research for his project on “Pharmaceutical Visions: A Visual Investigation into the Medical Mentalities and Expectations that Shaped the Early Twentieth-Century US Pharmaceutical Industry.”
