Applicants for the MA degree must have a BA degree (or foreign credentials equivalent to the U.S. bachelor’s degree). The GSAS Application Resource Center contains information on all aspects of the online application, as well as admissions requirements and application procedures for all graduate programs, including those in History.

Students applying for an advanced certificate from the Archives and Public History Program must hold an MA degree (or foreign credentials equivalent to the U.S. master’s degree) in a humanities or related field.
