Julia Butterfield (APH 2022) published a fascinating “City Story” on Urban Archive called “This Green Plot Shall Be Our Stage: Joe Papp and Shakespeare in the Park”. The story is presented on an interactive map and a treasure trove of photographs and interesting anecdotes.

Congratulations to the Organization of American States Scholarship Winner! (Andrea Ho, MAH 2023)
Andrea Ho (MAH 2023) has been named the Canadian fellow for the Organization of American States (OAS) Scholarship for Graduate Studies. The scholarship provides up to $20,000 for full-time studies at any university in an OAS member state. Andrea plans to study Indigenous activism, carceral history, and transformative justice in the Americas.
Congratulations to the Newest William H. Helfand Fellow (Joe Bishop, MAH 2022)
Joe Bishop (MAH 2022) has been named the William H. Helfand Fellow in the History of Medicine and Public Health at the New York Academy of Medicine. Joe will spend his residency at the NYAM doing research for his project on “Pharmaceutical Visions: A Visual Investigation into the Medical Mentalities and Expectations that Shaped the Early Twentieth-Century US Pharmaceutical Industry.”
