The Bulls and Bears team had the privilege of being hosted by Goldman Sachs at their global headquarters on Monday, November 18th. This tour of the firm’s 200 West Street office provided a unique insight into the firm’s collaborative and innovative culture. Goldman’s investment in their employees’ personal and professional development is exemplified by the firm’s state of the art gym, healthcare facilities and technology equipment. A highlight of the tour was the 11thfloor Sky lobby – a paragon of Goldman’s “flat” organizational culture that encourages cross-hierarchical collaboration and networking, both personal as well as professional. Moreover, the building’s sleek architecture and modern art decor emphasize the firm’s support for the arts and humanities. In conclusion, Goldman Sachs truly provides the opportunity to stretch oneself while doing impactful work.
The club extends its sincerest gratitude to Andrew Chen and Kathleen McQuarrie from the firm campus Recruiting department for facilitating this tour and answering their questions.
