As part of a class project, students chose an artist or artist collective from the 2017 Creative Time Summit that was of interest to them and designed a visual poster to be used in K-12 schools.
They conducted in-depth research on the artist/artist collective which answered the questions: What ideas or questions did the artist explore in their work? What research methods do they use and what is their process?
In designing their poster they needed to think about how they would represent the artist/artist collective using text and images, as well as quotes from the artists/artist collectives about their work, process, ideas about art.
