During the Fall of 2014, students organizing the Visionary Student Saturday Sessions chose to focus on the following themes: consumption and waste, the use of language, super-human abilities, visual renditions of sound, and self-portraiture. Sessions took place on Saturdays over 8 weeks starting in October and ending in December 2014.
A final exhibition and reception took place on Sunday, December 14th in the Commons Gallery located in the Department of Art and Art Professions at NYU. Participating high school students, their friends, families, and teachers as well as NYU faculty and staff attended to see the work produced over the course of the program.
