For the audio project, I will be working with Lorna to build a “Chinese dialect map”. We will collect records of different dialects saying the sentence “我在上纽大，我是XX人”. On our website there would be a map of China, and by clicking on different regions of the map the interactor could explore different dialects of China.
I am really excited to start this project, as I am curious about the various dialects people bring to this school. It would also be meaningful as it shows what a diverse community we are living in here.
