Since the last blog post, Lorna and I have been working on the visual aspects of the interactive comic. We are not entirely finished with creating the visual components for the interactive aspects, such as the “click me” buttons or arrows for moving along the story, but the main storyline visuals are already incorporated into the website. We grabbed the majority of these visuals directly from the movie scenes. Something that Nora and I decided on since the last blog post was that instead of making a story based on Sherlock Holmes’ “A Study in Pink,” we will just be doing a remake of the actual episode, with a very small adjustment to the plot towards the end, since the episode does connect to the other series and we felt that if we copied the episode exactly, it will be confusing for our reader.
