Maryam Al Shehhi

Maryam Al Shehhi is a third-year student studying Literature Creative Writing and Political Science at New York University Abu Dhabi. The daughter of Ras Al Khaimah’s mountains, yet, having been born and raised in Abu Dhabi, she finds herself existing in the land in between seas and mountains. She is interested in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, Translation Studies, and Post-colonial Theory.
