Unnecessary Invention: Water Bottle Walker

This device prevents its users from losing their water bottles with a leash that connects a water bottle to its user’s wrist. Think of it like walking your dog but instead, you’re walking your water bottle. It also provides its users comfort in transporting heavy water bottles.

Materials

  • Cardboard
  • Cutter
  • Cutting Board
  • Glue Gun
  • Hair tie

Procedure

  1. I made a cylinder out of cardboard to mimic an insulation sleeve for my device. This helps its user’s beverage maintain its temperature.

2. I created a stand for the water bottle which keeps it stable.

3. I created the wheels for the prototype by rolling strips of cardboard and gluing them to the bottom of the stand.

4. Lastly, I stuck a long piece of cardboard to the stand and tucked it under a hair tie to mimic the leash for the water bottle.
