Special thanks to the following researchers who made their codes available as open source to be implemented in part of the software:

  • DIC: Dr. William Thielicke and Prof. Eize J. Stambhuis (PIVlab)
  • Particle Identification: Particle identification was performed using the Hough transform implementation by Tao Peng. The code was written in MATLAB, and can be found here.
  • Particle Tracking: Particle tracking was performed using the Matlab implementation of David Grier and John Crocker’s IDL particle tracking code. The MATLAB implementation by Daniel Blair and Eric Dufresne was used. Source codes can be found here.

MAGICgeo is implemented in MATLAB from Mathworks.
