Call for Speakers
If you have been teaching creative technologies remotely, we want to hear from you!
For the 2021 Learning to Teach conference, we are inviting educators to share case studies from their experience teaching remote or hybrid courses or hosting online events such as end of semester showcases or exhibitions. Presentations can be entirely oral or include visual aids, and can be up to 10 minutes in length. You can choose to discuss the arc of your course over an entire semester or concentrate on one aspect of your teaching, classroom, or event (i.e. a particular project, event, or workshop, asynchronous and synchronous instructional modes, virtual active learning techniques, virtual student engagement, etc.).
Propose a presentation via this online form.
Due Date: Proposals are due Friday, 18 December 2020.
Session topics include:
- Creative Coding
- Physical Computing
- Experimental Realities: AR/VR/XR or Motion Capture
- Beyond Zoom: Getting weird with teaching online
- Virtual Events (i.e. End of semester virtual showcases, exhibitions and performances)
- Fostering student and/or colleague engagement and community building
Thank you for your time and consideration!
