Sound and Smell
For the Sound and Smells, I’m trying to present two icosahedrons on it. As you can see, one is bigger and the other is smaller.
First, for the larger one. I use continuity. Although the lines to depict the angles is not complete, we can perceive them as complete ones. And for the smaller one, I use figure and ground to show its regular angles. Meanwhile, for both of them, similarity is used to presents their faces. They varies in size to indicate their different distance from us. But since they’re all faces those subjects have, I use the same method to bring them out.
The reason why I choose this name can be that in my first view, they are like bells tinkling at each other. The variation of the circles and triangles can perfectly show sound diffusion and give us a sense of dynamics. Then I also view them as two blooming flowers trying to attract is with their fragrance. The patterns just show how beautiful they are.

Just Guess
At the top of this work I use proximity, and similarity as well, with irregular lines and blanks, I tried to depict these two main characters’ faces, while adding some mysteries for them. The expressions are hard to get, but I assume that’s the first time they meet each other.
When we move our eyes to the next part, it’s clear they’re dancing with each other. For this posture, I use figure and ground to show that they are gradually getting closer. But why it becomes like that? We might ask. Are they for others’ property? Or is it just for pure love? Or they are just trying to get what they want? I like the uncertainty of the story so I just decide to end here.
For the real assignment, those are not fully brought out. I remember the kissing part is missing and I use the rest of the black paper to create a belt among them( with continuity), to indicate that is not the end of this story.
