Check out the list of past winners here.
Do you know of a library staff member who has had a significant impact on the success of the NYU Libraries? Is there a team of coworkers whose activities have effectively transformed an aspect of library operations? Those members of our community who have gone “above and beyond” either with a special project or in their day-to-day activities are eligible to be nominated for the Dean’s Award.
The Dean’s Award was created to recognize extraordinary achievements in support of service, collaboration, and/or innovation. To nominate a coworker or a team of coworkers for the Dean’s Award, an online nomination form will be available. Tell us about your coworker (or group of coworkers) and the outstanding contribution that has impressed you.
The two NEW core criteria for the Dean’s Award are Inclusion, Diversity, Belonging & Equity and Creativity & Innovation. These core values represent the themes found in the Division of Libraries’ Strategic Plan.
The Dean will select 3-5 winners each year from the pool of nominees. Each winner will receive a prize, lunch with the Dean, and an award plaque.
