The NYU Libraries regularly acquires new databases. Take a look at the new databases we added to our collection in May 2018:
- Bloomsbury Food Library offers cross-searchable access to a range of encyclopedias, references works, e-books, and images. Search across numerous ebooks, and key reference works such as Ken Albala’s Food Cultures of the World Encyclopedia, the Cambridge World History of Food, Bloomsbury’s Cultural History of Food, and chapters from Food History: Critical and Primary Sources. Explore image collections from institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, USA.
- Guangming Ribao Digital Archive (光明日报) contains a central newspaper of the People’s Republic of China, and has been reporting national news for over 60 years. The full-image and full-text Guangming Daily gives comprehensive insights into developments in China in the 19th century and into the 20th century. The database covers the Guangming Daily published from 1949 to 2017.
- HistoryMakers Digital Archive contains full-texts and video interviews with African-Americans distinguished in the fields of science, culture, politics, the arts, and public life.
