Dibner Workshop #16 Beyond Google: Mechanical Engineering Research

In this session, intended for graduate students, we will explore various databases and resources with an emphasis on Mechanical Engineering Research. We’ll concentrate on how and where to use key tools, how to be most efficient and effective in your searching, and how to create systems and workflows that support your work. These techniques will be useful for researchers of all science disciplines, not just Mechanical Engineering students.

This session will cover how you can use GitHub and the Open Science Framework to open up your research, as well as connect your publications with the corresponding data.
