Learn how to create visually engaging research posters that effectively communicate your data. This workshop will teach you the basic components of a research poster as well as tips for how to best represent your data visually and how to find and cite images with Creative Commons licenses. We’ll also cover how to avoid common technical pitfalls when working with digital images and go over the requirements for printing your poster at Dibner Library.
This panel discussion will feature NYU Tandon faculty and graduate admissions officers giving you their inside view on getting into graduate school. We will also have a Dibner librarian discussing how to use library resources to evaluate potential graduate programs. Lastly, a recent graduate student will share what they wish someone had told them about getting into graduate school.
Intended to help you make the most of the Engineering and Technology Career Fair, we will investigate career resources available through the library. Learn how to find information about potential employers, companies and their competitors, industry outlook, job outlook, potential careers and how you fit in.
