DS: Project III

While project III was meant to be a refinement of project II, because of the lack of materials, I could make only something that was more of a prototype than the actual prototype.

As you can see, even the slightest touch with my finger could stop the motor from moving, so to have it operate any more gears, let alone move the legs would be a pipe dream.

Since the plan was to have a very complex system, having to hand-make gears and other parts while only having one, very weak motor to power it all just did not work out. Instead, I have a 3D representation of what it would have looked like.

Overall View:

Main gear system: (Labelled in order from motor)

Rear View: (Wires would connect from the two smooth, oval shapes to the “feet” with wire, different shapes would produce different frequency of “steps” in either leg, creating a “limp.”)
