Hi Kevin, I really like you guys idea of creating a VR world for relaxation, or I may say, to find the inner peace for people living a busy life in the urban world. My suggestion would be that maybe more stories can be implimented into your project so that when the users enter the game, they wouldn’t feel confused about what they should do and what they can do. Also, adding a storyline like that can make the project more intriguing and less likely for the users to feel bored about the game because from my perspective, creating something like this also needs to think about how to make the users stay rather than just triggering them to come in. But good idea and great work!
Hi Kevin! I really love your group’s idea of making an interface that can allow the user him/herself to choose what he/she wants to see in the VR environment. I personally think that it might be hard to realize the usage sound to control the whole interface, and I think since the number of category in the dataset can’t be limitless, it might be realistic to set several specific datasets that has closest relationship with “meditation”, and within each dataset we can have different materials that are applied different textures on them(eg. carpets, we can have woolen carpets with all colors etc.)
