Through the activity and discussions that were conducted during class, it appears that in most cases, the inventor’s own salient identity had some sort of connection to the target audience’s salient identity. With some peers there was an overlap between their salient identity and the target audience’s; whereas in others, the person’s salient identity mirrored the target audience’s.
For example, my project’s target audience would be people interested in reading the news, which is something that I do a lot. In a certain way, I believe my prototype is a partial projection of my salient identity, as it’s definitely an app that I would find useful.
