My prototype is an mobile application that prioritizes on providing news and media based on the users preferences. The user will be provided with their own personalized newspaper that takes into account regional activity that the user has specified, specific topics that the user is interested in (music, law, social) as well as newspapers that the user already uses or would like to. The application would also suggest new types of news to the user based off of their tastes. The goal of this application would be to provide universal access to news and media by tailoring it to the needs of the individual user.
