Flash Rosenberg is an Attention Span for Hire who uses drawing, animation, photography, writing, and performing to accelerate awareness, entertainment, consternation, and humor. A 2011 Guggenheim Fellow, she was the pioneering Artist-in-Residence for “LIVE from the NY Public Library,” where she made live-drawings of discussions between authors, artists, and provocateurs, in real-time, to create Conversation Portraits. Live-drawing clients include: IBM, Visa, Unilever, PNC Bank, Amazon, Gatorade, Etsy, Twitter, the Ford Foundation, the United Nations and many more. Her current lecture/splurge, Drawing at the Speed of Thought is a performance, workshop, investigation, and recent TEDx talk. Flash’s stories have aired on PBS for The Moth Radio Hour. She is a regular performer in Monologues and Madness, a member of the poetry collective brevitas, and served as the official DoodleClown for the New York Clown Theater Festival. Her FlashThink cartoons were a weekly feature on Archetypes.com. Her animations have been featured in Broadway productions. Flash Rosenberg Studio is a full-service cartoon, photography, motion picture, merriment, and mischief factory. She lives with two turtles and infinite questions. |
