Zoom Registration for Persianate Selves

Mana Kia will be in conversation with Catherine Ambler and Andrew McLaren on some of the central questions in Persianate Selves, particularly how senses of place, origin, collective belonging, and selfhood were part of a cosmopolitan sphere that crossed political boundaries and regions. They will also discuss how the book took shape, how the author came to focus on particular questions, sources, and methods in her exploration of premodern Persianate culture.
