I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto’s Language and Learning Lab, under the supervision of Dr. Patricia Ganea. I have recently obtained my PhD in Linguistics from New York University, and defended my dissertation, titled “Understanding possibilities in children’s counterfactual reasoning” in August 2023.
My primary areas of interest are first language acquisition and semantics. I am particularly interested in the acquisition of counterfactual constructions and possibility reasoning, as well as the interaction between causality and counterfactuality.
Between 2021 and 2023 I served as the managing editor for the journal Language Acquisition.
