As the closer of our spring semester, we invite you to join us to a conversation with Nathaniel Reichman!
He’s a New York-based, Grammy-nominated producer and mixer, who has worked extensively in television, film, advertising, and classical music. In film, he has contributed to Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s The Revenant, Godfrey Reggio’s Naqoyqatsi, and Abel Ferrara’s 4:44 Last Day on Earth. He has also worked on major contemporary classical music albums including those of composers John Luther Adams (Become Ocean), Philip Glass (Orion), and Michael Gordon (Natural History). His work can be heard on numerous hit children’s television shows including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, WordWorld, Bubble Guppies, and Wallykazam! He is lead mixer at Dubway Studios in NYC. He is a graduate of Bennington College, and an alumnus of the art school Fabrica in Italy.
We will be focusing on his experiences with binaural podcast production, building his own home Dolby Atmos studio, and mixing symphonic recordings for immersive formats.
Everyone’s invited to join and ask questions.
