Hotels/Stay
Hotels in NYC can be expensive, and NSF rules impose a $300 cap on hotel prices/night.
When selecting hotel, please note that the NYU Campus is easily accessible via subway line A,C,B,D,F,M,N,R,Q,1,2,3  from pretty much anywhere in Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn.
NYC is also very walkable. For the period from October 31-Nov 1, there are several hotels that show up on Google Maps as priced at <$300/night. These are all safe and walkable or within a short subway ride from NYU.
