The character on the left reminds me of a hand (as in lend a hand), the right as an ear to listen… and the bottom are like shoulders that can bare the weight of the problem.
The bottom part looks like a person holding out their arms, so I imagine that the person (the bottom part) is carrying the top parts and it looks like they need HELP.

The “B” in the Chinese character 帮, is pretty similar to the sound of the first word from its pinyin.
